Pre Sales/ Business Solution Engineer

Geon Asia Systems is a technology company based in Malaysia that specializes in providing and integrating a wide range of products and solutions related to information and communication technology, audio and visual systems, video conferencing, digital signage, hospitality TV, and cloud server development. The company has established itself as an authorized partner and system integrator for several prominent brands, including Samsung, LG, Logitech, Poly, Shure, and Yamaha. Geon Asia also offers in-house brand technology for cloud digital signage and kiosk solutions, along with Geon Cloud, a cloud management web server for remote content management.

Role Description

  • Conceptualizing & designing a system based on stakeholder requirements & budgetary.
  • Provide architectural guidance and recommendations to promote successful business solution proposals and architecture designs.
  • Turning complex technical ideas into understandable and attractive solutions. Please ensure the sales team can convey the technical aspect of the solution compellingly to stakeholders.
  • Prepare a configurable sales kit to address the prospect’s needs in general.
  • Support the sales team in presentation/demonstration/proof of concept to increase the chance of closing the deal.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with AV Brand Principals, Distributors, and Product Developers, is a crucial aspect of the job.
  • Responsible for obtaining certifications and training from various brand principals and recognised associations, showing your commitment to meeting the company’s evolving needs.
  • Manage and execute the integration of AV technologies, oversee the testing phase, and gather feedback to drive improvements.
  • Providing pre-sales support, including preparing bill of materials, proposals and technical specifications.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Relevant experience in Audio Visual and Video Conferencing Systems, specifically in pre-sales and business solutions.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering drawing skills is considered an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience with system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in the field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in Audio Visual Pre-sales/Sales industries.

Salary Package

  • Basic RM 5,000.00 – RM 6,000.00.
  • Allowances + Claims.
  • EPF, SOCSO, Medical & etc.
  • Performance Bonus each year based on performance.
