Technical Support Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting AV Solutions to resolve our customers’ technical issues. You will support the customer by acting as the liaison between the customer and other internal teams. Your ability to work in complex networking environments will also make you an ideal candidate.

Qualifications & experience

  1. The candidate should hold a Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, or an equivalent.
  2. The candidate should be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  3. Language proficiency: Well-spoken and written English (We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin as well to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients effectively)
  4. Requires solid problem-solving skills and good interpersonal skills.
  5. The candidate must possess transportation.
  6. Fresh graduates or experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
  7. Proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin is required.

Tasks & responsibilities

  1. Receive support tickets from clients and resolve problems.
  2. Assign job tasks to technical executives to handle after-sales tasks onsite.
  3. Handle after-sales service according to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  4. Communicate with suppliers and brand principals for technical support and after-sales-related affairs.
  5. Execute testing and integration work in the office to support the project team for demonstration sessions and pre-deployment.
  6. Receive internal support tickets from employees and provide problem-solving for IT-related affairs.
  7. Provide preventative maintenance for the company’s IT assets.
  8. Handle IT assets such as laptops for employee onboarding and offboarding.
  9. Prepare Certificate of Compliance (COC) and user manual for pre-sales and project handover purposes.
