Company Description

Geon Asia Systems is a technology company based in Malaysia that specializes in providing and integrating a wide range of products and solutions related to information and communication technology, audio and visual systems, video conferencing, digital signage, hospitality TV, and cloud server development. Geon Asia also offers in-house brand technology for cloud digital signage and kiosk solutions, along with Geon Cloud, a cloud management web server for remote content management.

Role Description

  • Overseeing the development of AV drawings and reviewing Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Communicating the architectural requirements and system implementation plan to the construction teams and installation teams.
  • Monitor the sub-contractor to ensure the sub-contractor works according to the work plan and method of statement with the best quality of work.
  • Work closely with the client to deliver the project to meet the client’s satisfaction.
  • Full understanding of and experience with project management and technical documents
  • Ability to communicate, and multitask with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to organise and manage workload by project requirements
  • Ability in problem-solving and managing responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Attaining related manufacturer and industry certifications as required
  • Able to relocate or willing to work outstation
  • To advise the team on the solution/mechanism & drawing
  • To prepare project management documents such as Method of Statement, Workplan, T&C Report, Training Materials and all kinds of reports related to project management.
  • To assist the Project Manager in all aspects of tasks.
  • To lead and guide the Junior Project Engineer in all project management-related tasks.
  • To utilise AV technical knowledge to support the Sales Team & After Sales/Technical Support Team on System Design, AV Architecture, and Pre-Sales to minimise barriers and obstacles in project management processes.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of Project Management experience
  • Communication skills
  • Project Management and Project Planning abilities
  • Project Engineering expertise
  • Audio-Visual & Electrical Engineering knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Salary Package

  • Basic RM 4,000.00 – RM 5,000.00.
  • Allowances + Claims.
  • EPF, SOCSO, Medical & etc.
  • Performance Bonus each year based on performance.
